The Watermark

The Watermark has some fantastic events ahead.  Click on the What's on Guide for more

What's on Guide June / July 2010

Coffee Shop

Also remember our Coffee Shop when you’re out and about in town - our coffee is definitely one of the best!  Together with a fresh panini or homemade cake take a seat and relax with friends or family; we’re open 9am until 5pm Mon - Fri and 9am until 1pm Sat and Sun.

Library Events

For the children this autumn don’t miss the library events.  We’ve had some tremendous storytelling this summer and those who couldn’t get a ticket will be thrilled to hear that there is more to come this autumn.

Don’t forget to make good use of your fantastic 21st century library where you will find not only books but DVDs to rent of that great film you wanted, and also CDs, spoken word books and large print for those like me who find some print too small.

Looking towards dark nights and Halloween, the library will be offering ‘Spooky Stories’ so don’t let the kids miss out on this and the very popular ‘Lantern Making’ children’s event.

Other Parties & Family Occasions

The  Watermark offers an excellent venue for all your parties throughout the year - have you thought where you might  hold a party (children’s or oldie’s), a christening or wedding reception or special anniversary celebration; with our fully licensed bar and catering (from tea to a banquet) we’ll make it a really special occasion. Book The Watermark - we do the work and you’re free to enjoy yourself!

Your Local Art Gallery

Your local art gallery is now in situ on the first floor – a super light and airy location to view and show local artists – come and support them!

Do you have your own business and need office space?  Our business Innovation Centre (2nd floor) has 16 business offices that offer a wide business service. Current tenants include businesses involved in finance and marketing, IT and fashion, emigration services, on-line pharmaceutical services, artwork and cartoons.

To sum up - whether you visit the Watermark to take part in or see music events or cinema, drama, dance, or comedy you are guaranteed to enjoy yourself with us. Again if you visit to use any of our facilities, to take part in one of our community projects, visit our coffee shop, library, or information centre you will experience first-class service.
